Jenny is excited to join the Young Voices team as the First Voices director. A native of Utah, Jenny grew up in a family of 5 sisters that all played the piano. Jenny got her BS in Music Therapy from Utah State University and her MM in Music Education with Kodàly certificate from Colorado State University.

Jenny is in her 17th year of teaching K-5 music at Strasburg Elementary. She directs a 4-5 before school choir, the Strasburg Singers. Jenny presents at conferences and has served as the president of ROCKE, the Regional Organization of Colorado Kodàly Educators. Jenny plays the viola with the Aurora Symphony and enjoys cooking and walking in her free time.
