YVC Offers 7 levels of instruction

Young Voices of Colorado, an award-winning and premiere children’s choir located in the South Denver Metro Area, offers eight levels of instruction, where children can express music with peers in an inspirational and meaningful way. Each of these groups focus on the development of music skills while preparing some of the finest music available for concert performances, community outreach, festivals and sometimes travel.

Admission to YVC is based on interest, enthusiasm and commitment rather than exceptional music ability. We believe every child can learn to sing well! Children from all economic, racial, ethnic and religious backgrounds are encouraged to join. Singers come from a wide geographic area and many participate through scholarships provided by supporters of Young Voices.

My son and I moved from Seattle, WA 2 years ago where he performed with the Northwest BoyChoir for 2 1/2 years. We were on the fence about joining a new choir when we moved to Littleton, CO because my son was nervous about settling into a new environment, but the "Try it Free" class had him hooked. We are very appreciative that they added a separate younger boys' choir the year we joined. The teachers are very professional and the kids really learn a lot about stage performance, teamwork, as well as chorale education. It's a fun environment to be in and a delight to see the kids perform twice a year at the Newman Center!

My son has been a member for ten years and it's been nothing but a terrific experience. He's had lots of fun, made great friends, and performed at Red Rocks with Brit Floyd. He's also learned lots of music theory and made all-state choir this year. If your kid likes to sing, YVC is a wonderful place for them to develop their gift.

Young Voices of Colorado has been an amazing experience for my daughter. Not only is she learning vocal control and music theory, it is a wonderful environment with supportive and knowledgeable directors that have helped her to blossom into an amazing young woman. Her self esteem has risen, and she is now comfortable doing presentations in school, something she never would have done before she joined Young Voices. She says she wishes she could come every day!
